Wokingham Library Big Garden Birdwatch Talk

0

An expert volunteer from the RSPB will be giving a free talk at Wokingham Library about how families can get involved this year.

They would like to encourage as many people as possible to take part in the world’s biggest wildlife survey. Last year 590,000 people took part and counted 8.2million birds. Bird populations are a great indicator of the health of the countryside, that’s why it’s so important to keep an eye on the ups and downs of wildlife where we live.

All people need to do is to spend an hour over the weekend of January 25-26 counting the birds in their garden.

Find out more about how you can take part and learn more about the birds in your garden by coming along to Wokingham Library on Saturday January 25 at 10.30am. The talk is free but please call (0118) 978 1368 to book a place.
